Regularly scheduled massages is great for your body, mind, and spirit. Massages can be a great preventative health measure by increasing circulation, releasing toxins, relaxing the nervous system, and relieving built up stress.
What to Expect at a Massage
At the beginning of each session, our Practitioners will spend a few minutes to go over questions and concerns with you in a private room. In most types of massage, the Practitioner will then leave you in the room to undress/remove jewelry down to your comfort level. We only ask that you leave your underpants on at all times. You will then get under a fresh sheet/blanket on the table, start relaxing to the comforting music playing, and wait for the Practitioner to return to the room. During the treatment, the Massage Practitioner will take you to a relaxing state fully covered by the blanket, but if at any time you are uncomfortable, please speak up so the Practitioner can adjust their practices.
After your session is complete, the Massage Practitioner will quietly thank you for your time, and leave the room. You are allowed as much time as you need to come back to your surroundings and get redressed. Once you are dressed you will exit the room and you can schedule another massage, or ask any questions you may have.
After receiving a massage you will want to drink at least four to eight ounce glasses of water to help flush out the toxins released in the soft tissue.
